Okay, it all seemed so perfect! Tickets in place - the timing falling together exactly like I dreamed. Details... However, it seems that our precious little daughter requires a VISA to do anything but change planes in Paris. Currently our itinerary calls for us to be there for 36 hours. Now, getting a Visa is not a difficult thing - particularly if you are 6 - BUT we will not get her passport until midway through the trip - and it will be a Chinese passport. And...the French Consulate is in Hong Kong - as you might have picked up, we did not plan on going to Hong Kong.
So - I am going to call China tonight - and try to talk to someone French. Pray for me.
Actually - a new airplane ticket would work too - however, Delta could not come up with anything today. Perhaps tomorrow?
