Apparently the Director is out of the office until next Thursday. So - Monday the 11th is the very best we can now hope for - to receive the Travel Approval. Then we still have to set up the Consulate Appointment with the American Government. Anyone see a thread here? (answer: government bureacracy) If only it were this difficult to enter our country illegally!
On a side and somewhat political note - domestic - let this be a thought to those who seek for the government to take over more of our lives - like healthcare. Our government is no more efficient.
For those who ask: We have been approved for Zoe. ONLY our travel approval is pending a signature. She is our daughter and will be home with us as soon as we can get her. (And we cannot wait!)
By the way - for those of you who know my competitive nature - we have set one amazing record for achieving Travel Approval (from a pending status!). This is definately not one accomplishment I have had an eye for. But for the record - I won.
