The weeks have just flown by and I am repeatedly caught without a camera. I am trying to be better about that.
Zoe is doing great in school. It took a while but the school has aligned their resources to help Zoe move a quickly as possible into on grade work. She is reading and writing - simple words - but STILL!! Last week she did fabulous on her spelling test last week and we have been celebrating since. We are so proud of her and she has such a great attitude about learning!!
This week is a bit difficult. My father is in the hospital for lung surgery. He and Zoe are really close - it is the sweetest relationship. She has just stolen his heart. I included a picture of them when we went out to dinner right before dad's surgery. Grama and her are playing cards!
More soon. By the way - my dad is doing really well and the prognosis is good.

Your parents and Zoe look as if they have such a deep rooted understanding and connection to and from one another..What a blessing. All is stabilizing here in Bklyn. We are thinking of Zoe, Grayson, Skylar and all of you. Sending positive wishes for your dad and strength for everyone. A few more days to Zoe's bday!!! CAn you believe it.
